Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater
and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble,
it's a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit
to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its shame, drudgery and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

The Muslim religion in the fastest growing religion per capita in
the United States, especially in the minority races!!!
Allah or Jesus? by Rick Mathes
Last month I attended my annual training session that's required
for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the
training session there was a presentation by three speakers
representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.
After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked:
"Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams
and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against
the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."
I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"
The Imam was speechless. I continued, "I also have problem with being your friend when you
and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question.
Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me
in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you
because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?"
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification'
training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.
I think everyone in the US should be required to read this, but with the
liberal justice system, liberal media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized.
This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well known leader in prison ministry.

life 'twas on the right side of town. She unpacked her things with such
great ease. As she watched her new curtains blow in the breeze. How
wonderful it was to have her own room. School would be starting; she'd
have friends over soon. There'd be sleep-overs, and parties; she
was so happy, it's just the way she wanted her life to be.
On the first day of school, everything went great. She made new friends
and even got a date! She thought, "I want to be popular and I'm going to
be, because I just got a date with the star of the team!" To be known in
this school you had to have clout, and dating this guy would sure help
her out. There was only one problem stopping her fate. Her parents had
said she was too young to date. "Well I just won't tell them the entire
truth. They won't know the difference; what's there to lose?"
Jenny asked to stay with her friends that night.
Her parents frowned but said, "All right."
Excited, she got ready for the big event but as she rushed around like
she had no sense, she began to feel guilty about all the lies, but what's
a pizza, a party, and a moonlight ride? Well the pizza was good, and the
party was great, but the moonlight ride would have to wait. For Dan was
half drunk by this time. But he kissed her and said that he was just fine.
Then the room filled with smoked and Dan took a puff. Jenny couldn't
believe he was smoking that stuff. Now Dan was ready to ride to the
point but only after he'd smoked another joint. They jumped in the car
for the moonlight ride, not thinking that he was too drunk to drive.
They finally made it to the point at last, And Dan started trying to
make a pass. A pass is not what Jenny wanted at all (and by a pass,
I don't mean playing football.) "Perhaps my parents were right...maybe
I am too young. Boy, how could I ever, ever be so dumb." With all of
her might, she pushed Dan away: "Please take me home, I don't want to
stay." Dan cranked up the engine and floored the gas. In a matter of
seconds they were going too fast. As Dan drove on in a fit of wild anger,
Jenny knew that her life was in danger. She begged and pleaded for him
to slow down, but he just got faster as they neared the town. "Just
let me get home! I'll confess that I lied. I really went out for
a moonlight ride." Then all of a sudden, she saw a big flash.
"Oh God, Please help us! We're going to crash!"
She doesn't remember the force of impact. Just that everything all of
a sudden went black. She felt someone remove her from the twisted
rubble, And heard, "Call an ambulance! These kids are in trouble! Voices
she heard...a few words at best. But she knew there were two cars
involved in the wreck. Then wondered to herself if Dan was all right,
and if the people in the other car was alive. She awoke in the hospital to
faces so sad. "You've been in a wreck and it looks pretty bad." These
voices echoed inside her head, as they gently told her that Dan was
dead. They said "Jenny, we've done all we can do. But it looks as if
we'll lose you too." "But the people in the other car!?" Jenny cried.
"We're sorry, Jenny, they also died." Jenny prayed, "God, forgive me
for what I've done I only wanted to have just one night of fun."
"Tell those people's family, I've made their lives dim, and wish I could
return their families to them." "Tell Mom and Dad I'm sorry I lied, and
that it's my fault so many have died. Oh, nurse, won't you please tell
them that for me?" The nurse just stood there-she never agreed.
But took Jenny's hand with tears in her eyes.
And a few moments later Jenny died.
A man asked the nurse, "Why didn't you do your best To bid that girl
her one last request?" She looked at the man with eyes so sad. "Because
the people in the other car were her mom and dad." This story is sad
and unpleasant but true, So young people take heed,
it could have been you.

How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
"God will not deliver him."
3 But you are a shield around me, O LORD;
you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
4 To the LORD I cry aloud,
and he answers me from his holy hill.
5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
6 I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side.
7 Arise, O LORD!
Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the LORD comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.
I've just created this blog and this is the first thing i want to share to all of you reading it :) Hope you'll like it coz it has really touched my heart!
Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at
the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son
would go out into their town and hand out Gospel
This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for
the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their
tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring
The boy bundled up in his
warmest and driest clothes and said; "OK dad, I'm
ready." His Pastor dad asked, "Ready for what?" "Dad,
it's time we gather our tracts together and go out."
Dad responds, "Son, it's very cold outside and it's
pouring down rain."
The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking "But
Dad aren't people still going to Hell, even though
it's raining?" Dad answers, "Son, I am not going out
in this weather."
Despondently, the boy ask, "Dad, can I go? Please?"
His father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you
can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son." "Thanks
Dad!" And with that, he was off and out into the rain.
This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the
town going door to door and handing everybody he met
in the street a Gospel Tract.
After two hours of walking in the rain, he was
TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone
to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally
Then he turned toward the first home he saw and
started up the sidewalk to
the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the
bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again,
but still no one answered. He waited but
still no answer.
Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to
leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to
the door and rang the bell
and knocked loudly on the door with his fist.
He waited, something holding him there on the front
porch. He rang again and this time the door slowly
opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking
She softly asked "What can I do for you son?" With
radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this
little boy said: "Ma'am,I'm sorry if I disturbed you,
but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES
LOVE YOU* and I came to give you my very last Gospel
Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His
great LOVE." With that, he handed her his last tract
and turned to leave.
She called to him as he departed. "Thank you, son!
And God Bless You!"
Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor
Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he
asked,"Does anybody have testimony or want to say
Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady
stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of
glorious radiance came from her face, "No one in this
church knows me.
I've never been here before. You see, before last
Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on
some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.
Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day,
it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end
of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to
live. So I took a rope and a chair an ascended the
stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the
rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on
the chair and fastened the other end of the rope
around my neck..
Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I
was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing
of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought,
"I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away."
I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed
to get loud er and more insistent, and then the person
ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to
myself again, "Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever
rings my bell or
comes to see me."
I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the
front door, all the while the bell rang louder and
louder. When I opened
the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes,
for there on my front porch was the most radiant and
angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life.
His SMILE,oh, I could never describe it to you! The
words that came from his mouth caused my heart that
had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed
with a cherub-like voice, "Ma'am, I just came to tell
you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU."
Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in
my hand. As the little angel disappeared back out into
the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly
every word of this Gospel Tract.
Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I
wouldn't be needing them any more. You see- "I am now
a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your
church was on the back of this Gospel Tract; I have
come here to personally say THANK YOU TO God's little
angel who came just in the nick of time and by so
doing, spared my soul from eternity in hell.
"There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts
of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very
rafters of the building.
Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew
where the little angel was seated.
He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.
Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and
probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was
more filled with love & honor for his son... Except
This Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold
and dark world.
He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as
all of heaven Shouted praises and honor to The King,
the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above
all principality and power and every name that is
Blessed are your eyes for reading this message. Don't
let this message die, read it again and if you like
you can foward it to others. Thanks :)
We will meet in heaven!
